Happy 2009!

Well, I have been doing my best to enjoy my last 2-week break. Starting now, IADT moves to 10 week Terms, and 1 week breaks. I’ll be missing that extra week, but it’s a corporate-wide decision, so just have to roll with it! I am pretty busy this last week revamping my lesson plans for the new schedule and getting ready to teach Flash, which I am really excited about. I will also be handling the Associates level portfolio class, which I am thrilled to be teaching, for online.

On a personal note, I did complete my 60 mile ride for the Tour De Cure this past March, but it was the ride from hell! I’ll have some pictures and the story up soon, so stay tuned. I am looking forward to doing another Century ride (100 miles) this coming year. Yes, I know I am a glutton for punishment, but hey, I have to ring in turning 40 in July in style right? I’m also hoping for a new bike for my birthday, so we’ll see! Certainly will take some of the sting out of hitting the big 4-oh if I do get one!

Bill is traveling a lot lately but is doing great, and the girls are keeping us on our toes, especially Lily, our new baby. Lily is a black lab mix we adopted last November from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. She is a BEAUTIFUL little mini black lab, sweet and crazy! Pickles is fine, and so are the kitty-boys, Jazz and Java. Pictures of everyone can be seen here.

Family and friends are all doing well, and this spring has me looking forward to bike rides and good time spent with family and friends, as well as the challenge of new classes and a new version of Adobe CS to learn!
