Spring Has Sprung...

So I am smack in the middle of one of the toughest terms I can remember and realized I totally needed to update this (still had the pic of me with the santa hat on). So since I have YET to get my butt in gear and finished any sort of new site design, here's a little fresh up for the old site!

I actually missed the Tour De Cure for the first time in 5 years, between knee surgery recovery and a bad problem with chronic sinusitis I simply did not have the time to train. However I am back on my bike with a vengance and will probably start exploring some other local rides!

The biggest news is I have been writing some really neat tutorials for Artistik Magazine, the latest being a pretty nice Gradient Mesh tut, if I do say so myself! Stay tuned for VIDEO TUTORIALS to go with the one's I've done for the magazine, that's the next step! I am also now writing a column called Talkback, sort of a design Dear Abby, so if you are a student or alumni with questins, please feel free to email me them. It might get used in the column! I still plan to add more to my Student site to make it more useful to my students, including the recorded tutorials by me! So stay tuned for more info!

So far, 2010 has been a tough mistress. I am working hard though, and perservering. I hope you are as well! Oh, and you should totally check out this cute video of puppies!
